Dr Geetha Ravishankar is an Associate Professor (Management) & the Director of MBA Programmes at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. Prior to joining the University of Birmingham, she held several academic and leadership positions at Aston Business School, Aston University, where she served as Associate Dean for Education (Postgraduate Taught Programmes) and the Programme Director for the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programme.
She holds a PhD in Economics from Loughborough University, UK and has extensive teaching experience across campus-based and online courses relating to microeconomics, finance and research methods across undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA levels.
Her research interests lie in international economics and financial economics, with a particular focus on performance analysis and benchmarking using econometric and mathematical programming methodologies. Her current research is interdisciplinary and focuses on the cultural and economic impact of migration and displacement.
