Ryan joined the University of Birmingham in September 2021 and is based at the Dubai campus. A Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), he has been teaching chartered accountancy exams for over 16 years across both the UK and UAE. Originally from the UK, Ryan began his career in private practice, where he gained broad experience across all areas of accounting. It was during this time that he developed a strong interest in Financial Reporting and Taxation. Motivated to share his knowledge, he transitioned into professional lecturing and has since worked with some of the world’s leading accountancy training providers. Drawing on his practical and academic background, Ryan brings a wealth of real-world insight to the classroom, enriching the learning experience for his students.
