Previously an experienced middle manager in an English Police Service, Jamie obtained wide-ranging service in operations, investigations, intelligence, neighbourhood, criminal justice, policy and managerial roles. As a mixed methods researcher he has examined and written on alternatives to prosecution, professional practice, and police organisational culture. He continues to help improve policing and support innovative practice in his current part-time role as research Fellow in the Centre for Crime, Justice & Policing.
