Her research examines place-based housing energy efficiency and retrofit, and the role of warm, welcoming community spaces in local energy transitions. Qualifications PhD Science and Technology Policy Studies MSc Development Management BSc Psychology Biography Victoria has worked in the energy sector since 2013, beginning her career by helping to establish an off-grid energy services company serving remote communities in Guatemala and Colombia. She holds a PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies, an MSc in Development Management and a BSc in Psychology. Her doctoral research explored the relationship between gender and energy access in off-grid electrification programmes in Latin America, shaping her ongoing interest in place-based, socially grounded approaches to energy transitions.
