Hannan Amoozad Mahdiraji, PhD-SFHEA, is an Associate Professor in Business Analytics and the Programme Director of the Undergraduate Business and Management programme at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. He previously served as an Assistant Professor in Strategy and Business Analytics and Programme Leader for MSc IB at the University of Leicester. His prior roles include Senior Lecturer in Business and Management at De Montfort University, Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Coventry University, and Assistant Professor in Management Science at the University of Tehran.

Dr Mahdiraji earned his PhD in Management Science in 2012 and specializes in multiple-criteria decision-making, business analytics, game theory, and supply chain management. Since 2011, he has published extensively in leading international journals such as the British Journal of Management, Risk Analysis, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Annals of Operations Research, Transportation Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Journal of Business Research. He has also presented his research at renowned conferences, including the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business.
