Rodrigo is an academic with significant international experience, having taught in Ireland, the UK, Singapore, Dubai, and his native Chile. His teaching spans subjects such as domestic taxation, principles of international taxation, tax policy and politics, and research methods for business, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
He has extensive experience in research supervision across all levels, including the co-supervision of two PhD students in taxation alongside Professor Penelope Tuck.
Rodrigo has previously held full-time academic positions at the University of Chile and the University of Birmingham. Before entering academia, he worked in the tax department at PwC, in the Risk division at Deloitte, and in the corporate sector as head of the accounting department.
