Eric Strobl is a part-time research Professor in the department, and holds a full-time post at the University of Bern. He is an applied empirical economist who conducts research on topics in economic history and business history. He has published over 200 articles in such journals as Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal, Journal of Economic History, Financial History Review, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, and Journal of Development Economics, to name a few.
