Hadi Heidary is a Marie Skłodowska Curie Research Fellow in the Birmingham Centre for Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Research, based in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. His research interests lie in development of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell components, low and intermediate temperate. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 journal papers, conference papers and book chapters.

Biography

Dr Hadi Heidary received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). His main research focus is the performance and durability improvement of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (PEFCs), where he has published over 25 journal papers in high-impact journals, presented over 15 papers at international conferences and two book chapters in Elsevier and WILEY. During his Ph.D, he spent 6-months at the Centre for Fuel Cell Research at the University of Delaware (UDel), USA.

The acknowledgment of his expertise is demonstrated by several invitations to review manuscripts for high reputed journals such as Renewable Energy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Energy Conversion and Management, and Journal of Energy Engineering. Hadi has a 14-year of industrial experience as research and development manager in power industries. He has also recieved grants for industrial projects (6 completed & ongoing projects).

In 2023, he joined the Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research at the University of Birmingham as a Marie Curie Research Fellow.
