Inderpal is a Lecturer in pharmacy practice and is the placement lead for both the 4-Year and 5-Year MPharm programmes at the School of Pharmacy within the Institute of Clinical Sciences.

Inderpal has extensive experience in placement supervision and is passionate about enriching the student experience through experiential learning within the MPharm course.

Inderpal is also involved in teaching within the disciplines of pharmacy practice and prescribing.

Biography

Inderpal gained his MPharm degree at Aston university in 2007.  Whilst undertaking his pre-registration training and first post in hospital pharmacy, the majority of Inderpal’s career has been undertaken in community pharmacy. 

Inderpal has worked for a large multiple undertaking roles of Pharmacy Manager, Regional Pharmacy Manager, Operations Manager, Openings Manager and Services Manager. 

More recently Inderpal has been working in academia where his predominant focus is in developing placement programmes and supporting students’ experiential learning throughout the MPharm course.

Inderpal’s research interests include workplace-based assessments, specifically within the pre-registration year.
