Lucille is an Associate Professor in Children’s Nursing and the Director of Pre-Registration Nursing Programmes (BNurs/MNurs) within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Birmingham. She has been a qualified children’s nurse since 2004. Her teaching lies in diverse families within healthcare, acute children’s nursing, cardiology and advanced practice.  Her research interests include LGBTQ parenting, inclusive healthcare, and domestic violence and abuse.
