Daniel is a research associate currently investigating medication errors and the betterment of prescribing practice from a psychological perspective. For the SCRIPT eLearning Programme.

Biography

Daniel Martin gained his undergraduate qualification in Psychology in 2019 at the University of Northampton.

In 2021, Daniel completed his master’s in health psychology with Liverpool John Moores University.

Daniel has worked for several years in the mental health sector supporting vulnerable individuals on various wards including: psychiatric behavioural wards, acute mental health ward, mental rehabilitation unit, autism & learning disability unit.

Moving away from the clinical environment, Daniel joined the research team of the SCRIPT eLearning programme at the University of Birmingham in 2021.

Current projects

Prescriber readiness. Specifically, investigating trainee healthcare professional’s self-efficacy and preparedness to be competent prescribers.
