I have a background in English language teaching. My main research interest is in the interface between language teaching and corpus linguistics.

Biography

I began my teaching career teaching ELT, ESP and EAP in France, Japan, Italy and the UK. I worked in ELT publishing before moving back into teaching TESOL and applied linguistics at the University of Nottingham, The Open University, Loughborough University and the University of Birmingham.
