Biography

Dr Thein completed a PhD investigating neutrophil dysfunction in hospitalised COVID-19 patients and currently has research interests in health inequalities in respiratory medical care.

Dr Thein has an interest in teaching, having completed a Masters in Medical Education related to the physician associate debate on social media. He regularly teaches undergraduate and post-graduate medicine.
