Aziza is a Research Associate in Health Economics at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science (CEIS). Her primary research focuses on assessing the cost-effectiveness of a novel diagnostic device for sleep apnoea as part of the FOUND trial.

Biography

Aziza holds an MSc in Health Economics and Decision Modelling and a BSc in Economics. Her current work focuses on undertaking an economic evaluation of a novel, non-airflow based diagnostic device for sleep apnoea as part of the FOUND trial. Alongside this, she is involved in single technology appraisals (STAs) within the CEIS external assessment group (EAG) on behalf of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Her broader research interests include economic evaluation of diagnostic technologies and paediatric orphan drugs, decision-analytical modelling, evidence synthesis and health technology assessment.
