Since joining HSMC in 2018, Manbinder has developed research interests in the areas of evaluating primary care policy, the development of new models of integrated care in the UK, and the role of learning networks and communities of practice to bring change in clinical practice.
His methodological interests are primarily qualitative in capturing different workforce and patient perspectives using interviews and observations. Manbinder also has an interest in rapid synthesis and evaluation.
Manbinder has published widely across these research areas and takes a particular interest in connecting these experiences to different theories of policy, re-organisation of care, and social theory.
Manbinder has wide ranging teaching interests. He works across a range postgraduate modules in relation to evaluation, primary care, quality and safety, organisational improvement.
