Sam Teo has a background in research and evaluation with for an about the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector before joining the University of Birmingham in January 2025. He is currently working across a number of research projects in adult social care and has a particular interest in the role of social care in supporting people with lived experience of mental illness. He is also currently completing an MA in Social Research funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, School for Social Care Research.
