Chloe is a researcher with experience investigating strength-based approaches to social care and social work, community/neighbourhood health and care support, dementia and socio-legal research.

Biography

Chloe is a researcher with experience investigating strength-based approaches to social care and social work, community/neighbourhood care support, and dementia socio-legal research. She completed her PhD in law at the University of Birmingham in 2022, and has since worked on NIHR-funded research, nationally evaluating a strength-based approaches program to social work and social care. She primarily uses qualitative methods and is interested in applying linguistic methods to deliver practical outcomes.

Research

Her research interests include:

  • Intersections between deathcare and social care
  • The role of the VCSFO sector in social health and care support
  • Mobilising grief and death literacy in society
  • Intersectionality in these spaces, particularly LGBTQIA+ experiences.

She has a SSCR career development award and will develop her research knowledge and co-production practice experience.
