Dr David Evans is an expert in musculoskeletal pain. He is a clinician and his research interests are centred around better understanding pain, with a view to matching the right treatment to the right patients at the right time.

Biography

Dr David Evans has been a musculoskeletal clinical since 1998. After completing his PhD at Keele University in 2007, he worked as a Research Fellow at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit, University of Warwick. He is regarded as an expert in musculoskeletal pain and a world-leading expert in the field of spinal manipulation. He currently teaches across various programmes and modules within the University.

His current research focuses on exploring pain mechanisms, pain responses to somatosensory stimuli, describing spatiotemporal patterns of pain, and the mechanisms of action underlying physical treatments, with a particular interest in spinal manipulation.
