Does the University offer any funding towards my living costs?

The University has a number of different types of awards to help you meet the cost of attending University.

Scholarships

• These will be based on your academic performance and are very competitive.
• Use the undergraduate funding database or the postgraduate scholarship finder to see what you should apply for and when.

Bursaries

• A bursary is generally awarded because of your financial situation.
• The University offers a bursary to all UK undergraduate students with a household income below £36,000; this is known as the Chamberlain Award.
