This module builds from the first semester Developing as a Researcher module. It introduces the key principles and approaches to data science and statistical analysis. It will cover data management, presenting data, choosing and performing analytic tests.

By the end of the module students should be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of principles of data science
• Evaluate the appropriate analysis/analyses on different types of research data
• Select and perform appropriate statistical tests
• Correctly interpret the results of such statistical tests
