Golf Operations Management



Year Three

The successful management of golf operations is essential for any golf business, whether a golf club, driving range, fitting studio or retail store, to achieve its strategic aims. Effectively managed golf operations can lead to increased competitive advantage, improved levels of customer service, enhanced quality of products and services and profit maximisation.

This module will introduce final-year students to the fundamental principles of golf operations management and will explore how the range of daily-delivered operations performed by golf facilities can be managed effectively. Students will investigate the strategic role of operations, the design of processes, operations planning, operations delivery, and quality planning and managing improvement.
