This module provides you with the experience, knowledge and skills to ana-lyse and evaluate the role of outdoor and adventurous activities as a medium for personal development and group management of young people. You will gain an insight into the nature of outdoor learning, both from a theoretical, as well as a practical perspective as theory-based learning is applied through participation in an outdoor education trip to the University’s Outdoor Education Centre in the Lake district.
