Call for Abstracts

The Call for Abstracts for the Conference is now open.  Postdoctoral and Early Career Research Staff in the Colleges of Engineering and Physical Science and Life and Environmental Sciences are invited to submit abstracts for oral research presentations and research posters.

Further information and details of how to submit your abstract can be found in the Call for Abstracts document.

Call for Speakers on Career Experiences

As well as giving postdocs the opportunity to present your research at the conference, we are also inviting you to put yourselves forward to share your career experiences in a short 10 minute talk at the conference.

This talk can be delivered in addition to a research presentation, however you do not have to deliver a research presentation or poster at the conference in order to be eligible to deliver a talk about your career experiences.

Our postdocs in the two colleges (EPS & LES) come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have followed varied career paths to reach their current positions.  Sharing and learning from each other’s experiences is an important career development activity.

In order to apply to talk about your career experiences at the conference, please submit a brief outline (no more than 200 words) to Jennifer Thomson , setting out what you will talk about.
