Support for schools and colleges

Male and female nursing students with a group of primary school children

We are keen to help you by providing bespoke activities to support and enhance curriculum delivery and to support students to find out more about study and careers in biomedical sciences and healthcare.

We have provided: talks and Q&A sessions in primary and secondary schools; researchers and academics to attend careers sessions; and resources and equipment to support the delivery of practical lessons. Please contact us using the form to discuss your particular requirements.

We also have a very active undergraduate student society, Birmingham Widening Access to Medical Sciences (BWAMS). As well as running our Year 12 and Y13 Dr.eam Junior and Senior Medical Applications events, BWAMS will visit your school or college to run activities for your pupils. See examples of BWAMS activities. Please contact us using the form to find out more.
