Dr Agnieszka Ignatowicz

PERCAT Rep for the Institute of Applied Health Research

Agnieszka’s research interests lie at the interface of sociology and health services, with particular focus on organisation and delivery of care, social and ethical implications of healthcare delivery; and qualitative research methods.

Agnieszka has worked on a number of projects related to integration of health and social care; new models of GP-led urgent care centres; professional values in clinical practice and medical education; ethical challenges of digital clinical communication in patient-clinician communication; and development of health systems in lower and middle income countries.

She is currently working as part of a new research team under Prof Dan Lasserson that seeks to understand how we can maximise the use of ambulatory care to support the NHS in meeting the demand for acute assessment and treatment.
