Presessional Refund Policy

Payment of fees

1. Full payment of fees is required no later than one week after the start of the course.  Information about payment methods can be found on the fees and funding section of the relevant presessional course here.

Your cancellation rights

2. After you have accepted your offer of a place, you can cancel your acceptance within the cancellation period without giving us any reason.  The cancellation period runs for 14 days from the date we accept your application.  If you cancel your place within the cancellation period, any payments received will normally be refunded in full.  If you start your course during the cancellation period, the University will charge you a reasonable sum for the course provided.  Important Information about the Presessional information, including the cancellation form, is now published at:

Refund of fees

7. No fees will be refunded because you arrived after the start of your English language course.

8. No fees will be refunded for authorised absence where you are expected to resume your studies after a short period of agreed absence. 

9. If you have started a presessional course and then withdraw before the end of the course, you may be entitled to a partial refund as set out below.
