The Centre for Professional Legal Education and Research is delighted to announce its first book, The Futures of Legal Education and the Legal Profession, published by Hart.

This edited collection comprises a selection of papers presented at the second CEPLER conference. It brings together leading academic scholars, senior figures from professional practice, policymakers and representatives of the regulatory authorities, to reflect on the key issues arising from this transformative moment.

 The book was edited by Professor Hilary Sommerlad, CEPLER Director of Research; Dr Steven Vaughan, CEPLER Director of Education; Professor Richard Young, Birmingham Law School Professor of Law and Policy; and Sonia Harris-Short, former Professor of Family Law and Policy and former Director of CEPLER.
