Excellent career prospects
Exciting career choices open to you when you graduate with one of our accredited degrees. You could pursue a career in the automotive, aerospace or energy sectors; one of the manufacturing industries; or you could work in other areas of science and technology, such as materials testing or failure analysis.
A recent £60M redevelopment of the School’s facilities provides the students with the best possible environment to grow and succeed, and our courses provide many opportunities to use some of the equipment in one of the best institutions for materials research in the country.
The courses give you the freedom to specialise in areas of your choice by selecting a number of optional modules as well as individual and group research projects in year 3 and year 4.
