The University of Birmingham in the UK has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) in Kerala, India. 

The MoU is a result of developing academic engagement between both institutions.  Building on existing links the MoU will aim to facilitate a post graduate student exchange programme, faculty exchange, a research fellows programme, and an annual research conference and doctoral student colloquium.

The IIMK is one of the 13 Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Government of India. Founded in 1996 in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala it was the fifth IIM to be established.

A leading UK research-intensive university, the University of Birmingham is a vibrant, global community and an internationally-renowned institution, in the top 100 globally.
