The University of Birmingham has been placed among the UK’s top 15 universities in the newly published Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.

The rating follows the University’s excellent performance this summer in the Government’s fledgling higher education auditing system the Teaching Assessment Framework, in which it received a gold status, the highest possible ranking.

Birmingham is rated fifth overall in the country for graduate employment prospects – more than 86 per cent of students find a professional job or begin a further period of study within six months of graduating.

The guide gives prospective undergraduates facts and figures on the UK’s universities to help them make considered choices over where to apply.
