Determined, kind, quiet.
What course did you study at the University of Birmingham and why?
English. It was my favourite subject at school so I just carried it on.
When did you start your sport and why?
I started around the age of 8. My dad plays a bit, so he took me and my older brother and sister to play, then from there we joined a local club.
What was the last book you read?
Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ ... for my exams!
What was the last music single/album you bought/downloaded?
Ed Sheeran ‘+’
Who would you want to play you in a film of your life and why?
Sandra Bullock - I’m nothing like her, but she’s my favourite actress.
Who has been the greatest influence in your life?
If you could play any other sport what would it be?
Either tennis or football probably.
What is your current training schedule like?
I’ve just finished my season, so I’m now starting to put the hard work in ready for the start of the next.
What are you most looking forward to about the London 2012 Olympics?
I managed to get tickets to go and watch badminton and athletics. I can’t wait!
