Research topic A genre-analysis of teacher comments
This research sets out to investigate the genre of tutors feedback in essays. There are certain characteristic features which are embedded in feedback, constituting various moves, steps and acts. With the findings of this research, I hope to develop a framework of feedback which will be applicable to initial teacher training programme, aiming to give effective feedback as well as raising awareness with current educationalists towards the salient ways into giving feedback.
