The Department of Philosophy and the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Scott Wisor.
Dr Wisor will begin as a lecturer and Deputy Director of the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics in April 2014. He completed his PhD at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009 and he has since then worked for the Genocide Intervention Network and at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Australian National University. Dr Wisor's research interests include social valuation, international trade, the recourse curse, global justice, global ethics and feminist philosophy. He recently published a book entitled Measuring Poverty and Gender Disparity.
