Mission Statement  "To translate cutting edge science into improved patient care, both rapidly and safely, through the design and conduct of large multi-centre/international randomised trials as well as smaller more data intensive phase I trials of novel therapies."


The Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) is one of the largest cancer trials units in the UK and has been in existence for more than 30 years. It was one of the first NCRI accredited units and is a UKCRN registered trials unit.
