Policy Commission Workshops

The Policy Commission hosted a series of workshops to hear from and debate with experts from a range of backgrounds and perspectives -

The Commission also held separate meetings with interest groups and individuals including -

Meeting with Sir Bob Kerslake (Permanent Secretary, Department for Communities and Local Government)
Meeting with Sir Michael Lyons
‘Table for Ten’ event with University of Birmingham alumni on theme of ‘Where now for the Public Sector and the aspiring Public Service Professional?’
Vice Chancellor’s Select Dinner to test out initial findings with national experts on the ‘Big Society’

In addition, the Commission undertook a survey of young people’s views, a series of practical case studies and held focus groups with young people.
