Gabby graduated with a BSc in Economics in 2014 and has been working in a graduate role for PWC over the last year.
Since graduation, I have been working at PwC in Assurance in Embankment. I managed to secure a graduate job straight from university and therefore I have been fortunate to go straight into work!
I haven't visited the University since I left, but I did visit a few friends that still lived in Birmingham. Unfortunately, they have now they have moved out of the city now so I’m not sure when I will next be back.
I am in regular touch with my friends made in Birmingham. Luckily, two of my other friends from Economics also joined PwC in London therefore we meet-up for catch-ups. I have also managed to meet other Birmingham alumni who have joined the firm too, so still new connections arising!
Independence. I learnt a lot about being independent and thinking for yourself whilst at university which has helped me to be a much more confident person. Confidence is essential in the workplace, especially audit where you need to talk to clients and also put across your view to other members of the team.
