Kiran Trehan at the British Diversity Awards

Professor Kiran Trehan of CREME has secured a fantastic prize at the British Indian Awards, a ceremony held in association with the British Diversity Awards.

Professor Trehan was awarded the 2015 Best in Education at the ceremony, held at Chateau Impney Hotel, Worcestershire on the 24 April. The ceremony recognised a wide range of achievements covering various aspects of society including business, community, media and education. 

Professor Trehan was up against competitors from Kings College London, Nottingham and Leicester University to take the coveted award in recognition of her work on providing thought leadership to the advancement of diversity and enterprise development nationally and in Europe. She was particularly commended for the way in which her work is well connected to practical knowledge and policy interventions. The sponsors said, ‘Kiran is an exceptional scholar and her research has made a significant contribution to the advancement of Diversity and enterprise development.’
