As part of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s ‘Filming Shakespeare’ event, a webinar on ‘Shakespeare on Film’ brought together colleagues from the Trust with Professor Russell Jackson (DTA) and Professor Emeritus Stanley Wells. It attracted participants from as far afield as Hungary and Brazil , and can be viewed at http://bloggingshakespeare.com/webinars/filming-shakespeare.

The webinar consists of a Power Point of screen shots from two films (Branagh’s Henry V and Hamlet) with discussion by the participants in Stratford, and answers to questions sent in by email as the session progressed.

The webinar also includes a message from Sir Kenneth Branagh and information about a competition, sponsored by the Trust, that will be of interest to those with film-making ambitions.
