A one-day conference, Dealing with Martin Crimp, organised by Professor Dan Rebellato (Royal Holloway, University of London) and Dr Vicky Angelaki (Department of Drama and Theatre Arts, University of Birmingham) will take place on 12 January 2013 at the Royal Court Theatre, London.
The event will coincide with Martin Crimp’s new full-length play at the Royal Court, In the Republic of Happiness and will also host the launch of Dr Angelaki’s monograph The Plays of Martin Crimp: Making Theatre Strange (Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan). The event will feature contributions from UK and international academics and practitioners, as well as Martin Crimp in conversation with Vicky Angelaki and Dan Rebellato.
