2011 alumna of our undergraduate degree in Drama and Theatre Arts, Patsy Ferran, has just been named 'Most Promising Newcomer' at the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards for playing the lead role of Jim in the National Theatre’s production of Treasure Island, which runs until the 8 April. Patsy was also nominated for this award due to her performance alongside Dame Angela Lansbury in the West End production of Blithe Spirit last year.
Patsy recently gave an interview to the Guardian, speaking about what a whirlwind of a year she has had.
