From 28-31 October Professor John Holmes will be Visiting Professor at Mount Allison University (MtA), New Brunswick, Canada. As well as teaching classes, on Thursday 29 Oct he will be holding a poetry salon at the opening of the exhibition Cabinets of Wonder at the Owens Art Gallery at MtA. On Friday 30 Oct he will be giving the keynote talk entitled 'The Relationship of Art and Science in Pre-Raphaelite Art' at a symposium linked to the exhibition and sponsored by the Royal Society of Canada on Cabinets of Wonder: A Symposium on Art & Science in the Academy and the Community.
