Dr Paul Thompson will represent the Department of English Language and Applied Linguistics (ELAL) at the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) international conference in Shizuoka, Japan, 20-23 November.
He will be on the Birmingham stand every day of the conference, meeting current ELAL distance MA and PhD students and talking to prospective students. In addition, he will lead two workshops.
