The winner of the inaugural Department of Film and Creative Writing One Minute Movie Competition was Dan White’s film, ‘The Trip'.
Dan, a fourth year ACS undergraduate, took a lateral look at the theme of ‘sight and sound’ to produce a film that playfully engages with spatial and temporal expectations, taking the viewer on an intelligently constructed chronology-bending journey. There were several excellent submissions to the competition, but Dan’s film was unanimously voted as best by the judging panel. Dan has since entered the film into an international short film competition and we wish him the good luck!
