Richard Langley and Michele Aaron from the Department of Film and Creative Writing will be taking part in a live question and answer session hosted by The BBC Academy on Thursday 15 October at 18.30 BST.

The Q&A will see a panel of storytelling and filmmaking experts from across the industry sharing their tips, tricks, techniques and approaches to making brilliant digital stories and how to get them seen online. It is designed for those taking the Digital Storytelling: Filmmaking for the Web MOOC - by the University of Birmingham, The BBC Academy and Creative Skillset - or for new or experienced filmmakers looking to learn more.

In addition to Richard and Michele – who are leading the MOOC – the panel includes BBC Academy trainer Deirdre Mulchay and digital producer and the Director of Yes Digital Ltd, Patrick Flavelle.

The event will come live from the BBC in Birmingham and be available to watch worldwide online on The BBC Academy website.
