The University of Birmingham is within the Top 3 for HEI provision in the latest edition of the 'Good Teacher Training Guide' . The rankings are based on entry qualifications, quality and teaching take-up and includes Ofsted grades and NQT ratings.
Overall, the school has been ranked 8th as a Teacher Training Provider, up from 17th place in 2013. This follows its success in 2013 when Ofsted graded it's courses as 'outstanding'.
