eese-nss-2015

Participants in the National Student Survey (NSS) have ranked Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering (EESE) highly at the University of Birmingham with 94% student satisfaction. These outstanding results rank EESE ahead of Glasgow, Leeds and York within the Russell Group.

As well as overall student satisfaction, students were particularly satisfied with the quality of teaching and learning resources at Birmingham. A number of individual courses within the School also attained an impressive 100% score.

The National Student Survey has been undertaken annually since 2005 and is open to final year undergraduate students at institutions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The survey is designed to assess students' opinions of the quality of their degree programmes, with seven different scores published including an "overall satisfaction" mark.

NSS is conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

The NSS survey highlights the Schools commitment to outstanding student experience and reinforces the University's position as a high quality world-class institution.
