Mechanical Engineering at Birmingham has risen from 16th to 9th in the Complete University Guide 2016.
The ranking further builds on the University’s recent strong league table performances in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, The Guardian University Guide and The Complete University Guide for 2014. Birmingham, the outgoing University of the Year for 2013-14, has also been ranked fourth in the UK for graduate prospects, with 84 per cent of its students in professional jobs or graduate level study six months after graduation.
