Caroline Devine (our Leverhulme Artist in Residence) and Professor Bill Chaplin have taken part in a workshop co-organized by the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Cultural Value Project and Science in Culture Theme, together with the Arts@CERN project. “In conversation: arts and science” explores interactions between artists and scientists, with an emphasis on how collaborations could potentially influence actual practice in each of the respective disciplines. They presented one of the four “conversations” around which the workshop was arranged, each conversation comprising a presentation by a collaborating artist and scientist.
