Sarah Beck

Sarah Beck has been awarded the 2011 Margaret Donaldson Early Career Prize by the British Psychological Society. The prize is awarded for outstanding contribution within the field of developmental psychology. Sarah’s research concerns the development of imagination and reasoning, in particular children’s counterfactual thinking, metacognition, and tool-use.

She will give a keynote address entitled ‘Imagination and reality’ at the British Psychological Society’s Developmental Section conference which will be held in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne from 7th to 9th September.
