A final year Forensic Psychology doctoral research student was recently interviewed for a news piece aired on BBC Wales and BBC radio 4.

Helen Whittle (supervised by Catherine Hamilton-Giachritsis and Tony Beech) also works for the National Crime Agency and was interviewed about the sentencing of Lost Prophets singer, Ian Watkins. Helen answered questions regarding the development of child sex offending behaviour and female perpetrators. The TV footage was aired in Wales on the day that Ian Watkins pleaded guilty to a series of child sex offences, and the radio interview was aired nationally on the day of Ian Watkins' sentencing.
